AKROTIRI- RED BEACH
Red as the name implies, this beach is located in a setting that seems almost unreal. Soaring red lava cliffs dropping sharply into the black sandy shore and into the clear blue sea, make this a sight to remember. A nearby hotel provides snacks and meals and there is access by boat to other beaches of the southern coast.

KAMARI BEACH
The beautiful black sand beach of Kamari stretches for five miles in length along the eastern coast of the island. Taverns, restaurants, hotels, tourist shops and entertainment spots, close to the seafront, will satisfy all tastes and preferences. A number of water sports are also available, such as water skiing, windsurfing and paddle boats.

PERISSA
This is one of the most popular beaches on the island, located at the south eastern tip of Santorini. The unique black lava sand and clear deep blue sea are its main attractions. Seafront taverns, hotels, camping facilities and trees for shade, add to the location. An array of water sports is available, such as water skiing, wind-surfing and diving.

PERIVOLOS-AGHIOS GEORGIOS
Another quite beach at the southern tip of the island, with small tavernas and rooms to let close by. Sport facilities are available, and well organized bar-restaurants.

VLIHADA
Also in the Perivolos area, this beach is the perfect spot for those wishing to avoid the big crowds.

OIA
Ammoudi and Armeni are two beautiful beaches which are frequented by visitors of Oia, the fascinating town built on the edge of a cliff. Amoudi is situated directly below Oia, on the northwest tip of the island, while Armeni is a little further on.
